About the Role

The AutoNation Experienced Sales Associate is responsible for selling new and used vehicles at gross profit, customer satisfaction, and volume standards. This role guides customers in their vehicle purchase within a no-haggle sales environment, ensuring payment options meet their needs and closing the deal. Associates provide exceptional customer experiences, drive loyalty through follow-up, and assist in transitioning customers to the Service department.

Responsibilities

Selling new and used vehicles at gross profit, customer satisfaction, and volume standards.
Guiding customers in their vehicle purchase in a no-haggle sales environment.
Helping customers select their perfect vehicle.
Negotiating terms to ensure payment options meet customer lifestyles, budgets, and expectations.
Closing the deal.
Providing an exceptional customer experience.
Driving customer loyalty through follow-up.
Helping transition customers to the Service department.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
Prior sales experience, retail preferred.
Excellent communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Willingness to follow up with customers.
Experience and desire to work with technology.
Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.
