About the Role
Heidelberg Materials is a global leader in building materials. This role involves operating loader equipment to manage materials and support yard operations in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate loader equipment safely to move, load, and organize materials
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Manage stockpiles and support yard material flow
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily tasks
Requirements
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and confidently
- Strong awareness of safety practices and commitment to following procedures
- Capability to identify equipment issues and report them promptly
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or with a team
- Reliability, attention to detail, and readiness to learn yard operations
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
