About the Role

Regeneron is seeking a Senior Director to lead technology portfolio management, IT financial management, and business management for its Commercial and G&A Digital & Technology organization. This leader will establish strategy, governance, and operating models, drive investment prioritization, and serve as Chief of Staff to the SVP, influencing major investment decisions and ensuring technology investments deliver measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise technology portfolio management across Commercial and G&A D&T, overseeing intake, prioritization, planning, and investment sequencing.
  • Own IT financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cost transparency, chargeback/allocation models, and technology investment value realization.
  • Lead value realization across the Digital & Technology portfolio by developing business cases, defining success metrics, and tracking business value against investment objectives.
  • Establish and govern enterprise portfolio and financial management standards, including intake processes, stage-gate reviews, investment frameworks, and governance forums.
  • Direct annual and ongoing technology planning cycles, aligning budgets, resource capacity, and prioritization with enterprise strategy and performance objectives.
  • Build and mature Technology Business Management (TBM) capabilities, leveraging cost and performance data to improve executive decision-making.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team while driving improvements in portfolio predictability, forecast accuracy, resource utilization, cost visibility, and executive reporting.
  • Serve as Chief of Staff to the SVP, managing leadership operating rhythms, strategic initiatives, executive communications, stakeholder engagement preparation, standardized executive reporting, AI-enabled portfolio management initiatives, and key vendor relationships.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Information Systems, Finance, Business, or a related field required; MS or MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership across technology portfolio management, PMO, or IT financial management, ideally within a complex, matrixed enterprise.
  • Strong command of portfolio and financial management disciplines (platform-agnostic, e.g., PPM/SPM, technology business management, and stage-gate governance frameworks).
  • Experience designing and facilitating executive governance forums, such as steering committees and investment review boards, and driving decisions among senior stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering directly with a senior executive in a chief-of-staff, business-management, or executive-office capacity, including executive communications and board-level preparation, is strongly preferred.
  • Comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy and discretion, exercising sound judgment on behalf of senior leadership.

About the Company

  • Regeneron is a leading biotechnology company built on a simple but powerful mission: to use the power of science to bring new medicines to patients, over and over again.
  • Founded and led by physician-scientists, we've turned that mission into one of the industry's most productive pipelines, nearly all of it homegrown in our own laboratories, powered by proprietary technologies like our VelociSuite® platform.
  • From Dupixent and EYLEA to a rapidly expanding portfolio across oncology, cardiovascular and metabolic disease, neuroscience, and rare disease, our science is reaching millions of patients worldwide, and we're just getting started.
  • As we invest billions in new manufacturing capacity, expand our global footprint, and build the next generation of digital and technology capabilities to match the scale of our ambition, Regeneron offers a rare combination: the resources and reach of an industry leader, paired with the energy, curiosity, and relentless focus on invention of a company still writing its next chapter.
  • This is a place where technology doesn't just support the business, it accelerates the science that changes patients' lives.
