About the Role
Financial Risk Analytics provides products and solutions to financial institutions to measure and manage their market risk, counterparty credit risk, regulatory risk capital and derivative valuation adjustments. The team is seeking a motivated product analyst to support its Market Risk solution by translating client, market, and internal stakeholder needs into clear product requirements. This role will support the achievement of team goals through personal contribution, focus on work quality, seeking guidance, and sharing insights.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of the product roadmap for the Market Risk solution.
- Assist in the delivery of new product features, communicating regularly with the product team.
- Research and design functionality, create product feature specifications, coordinate implementation, and prepare documentation for new features.
- Coordinate with data, software, and financial engineering teams on the development, testing, and implementation of new risk models.
- Develop analytical tools and prototypes for new features prior to implementation.
- Develop into a trusted product contact for the team, ensuring each component works end to end.
- Support current and prospective clients by responding to product questions.
- Support the professional services team with PoCs, client onboarding, and production runs.
- Assist in the presentation of product capabilities to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
Requirements
- Interest in financial services, risk management, quant finance, or technology.
- A quantitative background in finance, mathematics, economics, physics, computer science, or other technical subjects.
- Interest in product design and/or software development.
- Ability to apply skills and knowledge to defined outputs with attention to quality and detail.
- Strong communication skills, with a willingness to ask questions, seek feedback, and build knowledge.
- A collaborative mindset, with enthusiasm for building relationships and contributing to team goals.
- Ability to clarify priorities and adapt as team objectives shift.
