About the Role

TownePlace Suites by Marriott/Buffalo-Airport is seeking a Night Auditor to join their team. The Night Auditor is the face of the hotel during overnight hours and provides superior service to all guests.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and completing check-in/check-out procedures using the Property Management System.
• Handling cash, credit card information, and goods at the property.
• Identifying guest needs and providing relevant information about hotel services and amenities.
• Responding to all guest requests in a timely manner.
• Taking reservations from incoming callers and inputting information into the hotel management system.
• Updating and canceling reservations in the system as requested by the guest.
• Organizing previous shifts' paperwork, closing and balancing room accounts and vouchers.
• Investigating and analyzing out-of-balance situations.
• Running trial balance reports and performing night audit procedures.
• Preparing guest folios for express check-out.

Requirements

• Customer Service experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
• BRAND experience is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Computer knowledge including intranet, Property Management System, WORD, and EXCEL is strongly preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving history subject to company approval.
