About the Role
Chime's Growth Engineering team builds member-facing experiences that drive business metrics. We are seeking a full stack engineer to own features end-to-end, including React and TypeScript interfaces, Rails services and APIs, and A/B testing. You will influence architecture, ship across the stack, and maintain code health.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, refactor and scale consumer product features end to end — from member-facing React/TypeScript interfaces through the services and APIs that power them
- Build strong, resilient APIs and partner with mobile engineers on the contracts behind our React Native app
- Rapidly prototype and launch A/B tests, then use the results to decide what ships, what iterates, and what gets killed
- Own the quality of what you ship end to end — page performance, funnel conversion, accessibility, and the instrumentation that tells you it's working
- Collaborate with product, design, data science, and marketing to understand member pain points and come up with solutions
- Proactively identify opportunities for improving the reliability and scalability of our systems
- Work across the engineering team to improve and uphold high technical standards
