About the Role
Orchestra is seeking an Account Coordinator to join its Travel + Hospitality team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a career in strategic communications by supporting clients in the travel, lifestyle, hospitality, and culinary industries. The position involves assisting with daily account management, media relations, research, writing, and project coordination, while collaborating with senior team members on integrated communications campaigns and media placements.
Responsibilities
- Implement strategy and campaign planning for multiple high-profile accounts.
- Pitch and place media stories across local, regional, and national outlets.
- Write and edit persuasive external and internal documents such as press releases, op-eds, fact sheets, talking points, editorial board memos, and communications plans.
- Oversee day-to-day communications with clients, including staffing weekly calls, developing press recaps, and participating in crisis communications, as necessary.
- Manage work streams across multiple accounts in the arts and culture sector.
Requirements
- Internship or other relevant experience in strategic communications.
- Interest in PR specifically within the travel and hospitality space.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments at once, work quickly, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
