About the Role

Seeking an associate attorney for a growing insurance defense/personal injury firm on the North Shore of Long Island. The role involves significant client contact, case management from inception to judgment, and court appearances.

Responsibilities

• Significant client contact from beginning to end
• Frequent and timely reporting to clients and insurance carriers
• Drafting pleadings, responding to discovery demands, review and analysis of medical records
• Conducting and representing clients at depositions
• Court appearances in Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester and all NYC courts
• Preparing and responding to relevant motions

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience handling cases involving premises liability
• Experience handling Labor Law claims
• Experience handling automobile liability
• Experience handling dog bite litigation
• Ability to manage cases from inception to judgment
• Trial experience is not required but is a plus
