Provides personal attention to guests, ensuring complete satisfaction from beginning to end of treatments by performing essential duties.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests professionally, friendly, and in a relaxing manner.
- Provide spa tours and explain the proper use of amenities like the sauna, steam room, and lockers.
- Anticipate guest needs, answer questions, and provide attentive, personalized service.
- Build warm, professional relationships with guests and recognize returning members by name.
- Be knowledgeable about daily treatments and appointments while maintaining guest privacy.
- Promote spa services and retail products in a service-oriented manner.
- Assist guests with safe and proper use of facilities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, comfortable, and well-stocked spa environment.
- Monitor facility conditions and promptly report safety concerns or maintenance needs.
- Maintain inventory of towels, sandals, amenities, and other supplies.
- Complete daily checklists and follow opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout guest-facing areas.
- Handle busy or stressful situations with professionalism and composure.
- Demonstrate patience, empathy, active listening, and genuine care for guests.
- Collaborate with spa management and team members for seamless guest service.
- Maintain a polished appearance and adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
- Demonstrate reliability, flexibility, energy, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Regularly required to stand and walk.
