About the Role

This role offers hands-on experience in the inner workings of a major record label, focusing on how artists grow their audiences on digital platforms and providing insight into the day-to-day operations of a record label. The Senior Streaming Partnerships Manager will work across all music genres and Sony's label groups, managing the relationship with Spotify to enhance artist visibility and shape marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage relationships with various label teams within Sony Music UK and manage the UK company's relationships with the platform.
  • Act as the team point person for one of Sony’s key labels, attending their label meetings and fielding related questions from the label teams.
  • Drive education of internal teams on best practices for artist positioning, fan engagement, and growing audiences on the platform.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute bespoke artist partnerships with the platform.
  • Plan and host regular in-person meetings to present and introduce our artists.
  • Manage the pitch process of new releases and ongoing priority projects to ensure optimal visibility.

Requirements

  • Experience working within the music industry, digital music sector, or a related entertainment, media or technology business.
  • Strong knowledge of Spotify, streaming strategy and the wider digital service provider (DSP) landscape.
  • Passionate about music, culture and the ways fans engage with artists in a digital environment.
  • A confident relationship builder who can influence and collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to use data and insights to inform decisions and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Highly organised, with excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • An effective communicator and presenter, comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Curious about emerging trends, technologies and innovations shaping the future of music and streaming.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
