About the Role

Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino, located near the beaches of Ocean City, MD. This role involves ensuring guest enjoyment and safety on the overnight shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant vigilance for the safety of guests, employees, and property.
• Maintain a professional demeanor.
• Enforce and adhere to State Lottery Regulations, Internal Controls, and company Policies & Procedures.
• Enforce security procedures at all assigned posts.
• Assist in the transfer of monies between areas.
• Patrol grounds in a security vehicle as assigned.
• Promote outstanding customer relations.
• Promote honesty and trust amongst the team.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency.
• Must be able to lift fifty (50) lbs. without difficulty, repeatedly.
• Must be able to sit, walk or stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous Security experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required and must meet the requirements of company Motor Vehicle Policy.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
• Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management.
