About the Role

Oversees all of Family Support Services and associated programs, ensuring regulatory and budgetary compliance. Develops and oversees programs for continuous quality improvement and maintains effective communication with managers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision to Family Support Managers and direct reports.
  • Ensure managers perform their required job responsibilities.
  • Ensure adequate direct support levels for all services.
  • Manage FTE and OT within the department budget.
  • Review and process Medicaid billing for all FSS programs.
  • Administer the OPWDD FSS Contract, including committee coordination, application processing, quarterly reporting, document maintenance, and expenditure tracking.
  • Review and approve all plans for regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain working knowledge of State and Federal regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Analyze, manage, and maintain the departmental budget with the Director.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of administrative and supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of three years prior experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or related human services program experience.
  • Proven leadership, communication, fiscal, and administrative skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
  • Valid NYS Driver's License that meets agency standards.
