About the Role

As a Project/Floor Custodian, you will prioritize and manage projects and workloads, assist EVS co-workers, and maintain cleanliness in assigned areas. You will also strip, wax, and polish floors using specialized machinery and perform additional janitorial duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas.
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors; dusting and wiping down surfaces.
• Emptying trash receptacles and replacing liners.
• Restocking supplies as needed, such as paper towels and soap.
• Reporting maintenance issues and safety hazards.
• Operating machinery to help clean resort.
• Understanding and utilizing various cleaning chemicals.
• Strip, wax and polish floors using light and heavy power scrubbers and buffers.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate with team members effectively.
• Previous experience in cleaning or custodial services.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Minimal knowledge of cleaning machinery and how to use them.
• Minimal knowledge of cleaning chemicals and how to use them.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 75 pounds.
