About the Role
The Member Services Associate for Enterprise CarShare provides customer service, handles administrative duties, and supports new member acquisition and retention efforts. This role is crucial for delivering excellent service to members and potential members via multiple communication channels.
Responsibilities
- Perform administrative duties including data entry, accounts receivable, and using Microsoft Excel.
- Resolve billing and data reports, including creating credits or assessing fees/fines.
- Provide direct customer service support via telephone, email, and in-person.
- Utilize the in-house reservation management system, vehicle technology, and smartphone app for member support.
- Assist members with billing/invoice questions and provide live emergency assistance for issues like accidents or mechanical problems.
- Assist new members with license verification, document submission for underwriting, and service overview.
- Educate potential members on the features, advantages, and benefits of CarShare membership, including plan selection and damage protection.
- Manage workloads across administrative tasks, calls, emails, and applications.
- Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Work within a seven-day-per-week operation with staff present between 7:50 am and 7:30 pm.
- Work one weekend day per week.
- Work some holidays, including Thanksgiving, Canada Day, Christmas, and Boxing Day.
- Schedule staff for holidays, ensuring fair distribution of workload.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
- Must possess a valid Ontario G or G2 driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
- No drug or alcohol-related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years.
- Must have a minimum High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum one year of customer service and administrative experience required.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook) is required.
- Must be able to work from the office located at 65 Regent Park Blvd.
- Must have a secure and private home work area free from distractions and background noise for remote holiday work.
- Must have access to a modem/router ethernet port for the phone system for remote holiday work.
- Requires flexibility on hours, working approximately 40 hours per week, potentially up to 44 hours with approval.
- Driving experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to explain vehicle features and troubleshoot vehicle issues with members.
