About the Role

The Group Information Services (GIS) team plays a central role in supporting the company in leveraging technology for better outcomes for customers, colleagues, and partners. As a Technology Business Partner, you will be at the heart of this connection, acting as a trusted link between GIS and a designated business area. This is a highly visible partner role where you will build close relationships with leaders, bring structure to demand, shape technology roadmaps, and ensure business priorities are clearly understood and executed in line with company standards. You will also collaborate within a cooperative matrix network of strategic partners and colleagues from Architecture, Service Management, Product Development, Program Management, and Cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and act as the primary technology point of contact for your business area.
  • Understand business goals, priorities, and challenges and translate them into clearly defined technology opportunities and requirements.
  • Evaluate and prioritize initiatives against common criteria, ensuring they are clear, justified, and aligned with company standards.
  • Maintain a clear business roadmap and support decisions on project, product, and investment priorities.
  • Represent business priorities in GIS forums, connect stakeholders, and resolve issues.
  • Promote clear communication regarding delivery status, risks, issues, changes, and governance requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience in business partnering, stakeholder engagement, or relationship management in a technology-focused environment.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear technology requirements, priorities, and outcomes.
  • Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders and managing expectations in a matrix organization.
  • Possess commercial acumen to justify investment cases and balance benefits, risks, costs, and capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous situations.
  • Understanding of technology governance, architecture, cybersecurity, data privacy, and service delivery principles.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional international business travel.
  • Very good written and spoken English skills (minimum C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
