About the Role
The Territory Manager is a field-based position supporting our MitraClip division, responsible for ensuring the assigned territory meets or exceeds sales objectives. This role involves identifying and evaluating market opportunities, establishing sales objectives, coordinating with clinical consultants, and negotiating contracts. The position also requires keeping the company informed of market dynamics and competitive activity.
Responsibilities
- Sells products by scheduling sales calls to meet with current and potential customers to fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives.
- Develops and implements sales strategies by determining the relevant factors of existing and potential accounts to effectively promote the company's products.
- Develops action plans by analyzing sales figures and reports, identifying account needs, and discussing issues with regional managers.
- Identifies key accounts, health care professionals, and business issues that have the greatest effect on product usage.
- Observes actual procedures in labs and operating rooms to gain insight into physician and staff needs.
- Establishes pricing packages by working with relevant personnel to set price points that meet customer needs and company guidelines.
- Develops relationships with hospital personnel to make new contacts and identify key purchasing decision makers.
- Strengthens customer relationships by performing sales support activities such as training, VIP trips, orientations, launches, and updates.
- Builds networks of contacts by attending and participating in trade shows, educational conferences, and seminars.
- Educates external customers on product merits and clinical usage by giving presentations and demonstrations.
- Maintains clinical and technical expertise by attending company product training sessions.
- Assesses trends in managed care, competitors' strategies, and new product development by monitoring internal and external indicators.
- Prepares and submits reports to sales management by analyzing and compiling data, projections, and other relevant information.
Requirements
- BS/BA or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of related cardiovascular work experience.
- 5+ years of Structural Heart or Heart Failure implantable device sales experience.
- Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19.

Salary/Compensations
- $86,700.00 – $173,300.00
