About the Role

Michael Kors is seeking a Product Planner to join their Product Planning Team in London. This role is crucial for driving sales, margin, and inventory productivity across the EMEA Omni-Channel business.

Responsibilities

  • Own financial and inventory plans for assigned product categories across the EMEA Omni-Channel business.
  • Develop and manage annual, seasonal, and monthly sales, receipts, inventory, and markdown plans.
  • Manage category Open-to-Buy (OTB), identifying risks and opportunities, and presenting recommendations.
  • Lead weekly, monthly, and seasonal trade reviews, analyzing performance trends.
  • Partner with Buying to build customer-focused assortments and influence category strategies.
  • Collaborate with Allocation teams to develop effective launch and inventory deployment strategies.
  • Drive replenishment strategies across core and key seasonal programs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of allocation and replenishment decisions through hindsight analysis.
  • Partner with Branch, Retail, and Digital teams to incorporate customer demand and market trends into planning.
  • Lead inventory management strategies to optimize stock flow and reduce aged inventory.
  • Develop and execute promotional, markdown, and exit strategies.
  • Work cross-functionally with Buying, Allocation, Retail, Digital, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Coach and develop Assistant Planners.

Requirements

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in Retail Planning, Store Planning, and/or allocation.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Advanced Excel Skills.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Handbag/Accessories or Ready-to-wear background preferred.
  • Experience in fast-paced fashion retailers preferred.
