About the Role
Michael Kors is seeking a Product Planner to join their Product Planning Team in London. This role is crucial for driving sales, margin, and inventory productivity across the EMEA Omni-Channel business.
Responsibilities
- Own financial and inventory plans for assigned product categories across the EMEA Omni-Channel business.
- Develop and manage annual, seasonal, and monthly sales, receipts, inventory, and markdown plans.
- Manage category Open-to-Buy (OTB), identifying risks and opportunities, and presenting recommendations.
- Lead weekly, monthly, and seasonal trade reviews, analyzing performance trends.
- Partner with Buying to build customer-focused assortments and influence category strategies.
- Collaborate with Allocation teams to develop effective launch and inventory deployment strategies.
- Drive replenishment strategies across core and key seasonal programs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of allocation and replenishment decisions through hindsight analysis.
- Partner with Branch, Retail, and Digital teams to incorporate customer demand and market trends into planning.
- Lead inventory management strategies to optimize stock flow and reduce aged inventory.
- Develop and execute promotional, markdown, and exit strategies.
- Work cross-functionally with Buying, Allocation, Retail, Digital, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
- Coach and develop Assistant Planners.
Requirements
- Must have 5+ yrs. experience in Retail Planning, Store Planning and/or allocation.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree.
- Advanced Excel Skills.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Handbag/Accessories or Ready-to-wear background preferred.
- Experience in fast-paced fashion retailers preferred.
