About the Role

Provide day to day administrative support to the Deputy Head of GCIB and UK & Ireland Coverage, Global Subsidiary Banking and Growth and Middle Market Technology teams.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day to day team administrative workflow.
  • Manage diaries, including coordinating external and internal meetings.
  • Handle travel and entertainment expenses in adherence to MUFG policies.
  • Ensure timely completion of expense claims.
  • Monitor, report, and manage the cost center, focusing on travel, entertainment, and training.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders across different divisions, including credit, front office, systems, audit, and operations.
  • Implement new controls and processes.
  • Coordinate intra-departmental meetings and manage meeting room and desk bookings.
  • Complete ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
  • Organize new joiners/leavers, system requests, and IT equipment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within MUFG regionally and globally.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a PA supporting multiple individuals or large teams in the financial industry or a similar industry.

Skills

  • Experience in a PA or business support role.
  • Strong numerical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective communication at all levels.
  • Ability to multitask and manage changing and conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to work with high motivation and initiative.
  • Good financial and business planning capability.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality, professional work.
  • Ability to interact with diverse personalities at all levels.
  • Good written communication skills, especially for senior management interaction.
  • Proficient IT skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
