About the Role
The Sonographer will perform and evaluate ultrasound examinations, assist doctors in procedures, and provide accurate diagnoses. This role is crucial in delivering patient-focused care and contributing to CHARM Fertility's mission as a leading women's healthcare destination.
Responsibilities
- Assist doctors in ultrasound-guided procedures such as sonohysterograms
- Provide optimum patient-centered care and demonstrate a professional manner
- Report, review, and record findings of ultrasound scans for accurate patient diagnosis
- Consult with physicians regarding ultrasound results
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment through Quality Control and Quality Assurance tests
- Perform and assess ultrasound examinations (Transabdominal and Transvaginal) for various gynecological and obstetric conditions
- Actively participate in team building and departmental goal development
- Work independently without supervision
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited degree/post-diploma Ultrasound program or recognized equivalent preferred
- CMRITO certified
- Minimum of 3 years of experience performing and assessing ultrasound examinations, including proficiency in various scanning techniques and procedures
- Good judgment to ensure patient and team safety
- Strong technical skills and image quality
- Effective time management skills, ability to organize work, and set priorities
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Excellent problem-solving and recognition skills
