About the Role
Your mission as a (Junior) Event Manager will be to convince as many people as possible of vly as a healthy & sustainable brand by making the brand and products tangible to our target audience.
Responsibilities
- Independent organization, planning, and execution of trade fairs, tastings, pop-ups, brand events, event sponsoring, internal events, and active on-site support.
- Creation and monitoring of schedules, checklists, and timelines for the smooth execution of all events.
- Clear communication and reliable coordination with external partners, locations, suppliers, and agencies.
- Independent management of event logistics – from material ordering and warehouse organization to transport.
- Briefing, coordination, and support of promoters and event helpers during assignments.
- Active co-design of new event formats through research, idea generation, presentations, and contributing own impulses in internal meetings.
- Documentation and evaluation of events (e.g., feedback analysis, photo selection, creation of reports) for continuous optimization.
- Assignment and maintenance of budgets, invoice filing, management of participant lists, and maintenance of the event database and material overview.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in event management or trade fair organization (e.g., from event departments of companies or event agencies). For juniors, at least from internships, part-time jobs, or larger private projects.
- Completed commercial apprenticeship (e.g., Eventkaufmann/-frau, Kaufmann/-frau für Marketingkommunikation) or a corresponding degree.
- Hands-on mentality & stress resistance: You keep a cool head even in dynamic phases, think solution-oriented, and tackle tasks operationally and administratively on your own responsibility. Multitasking and flexible working hours (including weekend assignments at events) are not a problem for you.
- Structured, independent way of working, clear communication, and enjoyment of teamwork.
- Proficient communication in German and very good English skills.
- Confident use of MS Office or Google Workspace (especially Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides).
