About the Role
The Learning Experience® – Staten Island, NY is hiring a Lead Teacher for our young preschool classrooms ages 2-4. Join our brand-new childcare center in Staten Island, New York and grow your career in early childhood education with a nationally recognized leader in daycare and preschool programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead a childcare classroom using our L.E.A.P. Curriculum®
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging preschool environment
- Coach and mentor assistant teachers
- Manage daily routines, activities, and classroom structure
- Communicate with families about child progress and development
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children
Requirements
- 1–2 years of preschool, daycare, or childcare teaching experience
- Bachelors Degree or 90 credits of Early Childhood Education (or currently on a Study Plan in Education)
- Knowledge of early childhood education and DAP
- Strong leadership and classroom management skills
- CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
