About the Role

Fanatics Collectibles is seeking an Associate Project Manager (APM) to join its project management organization. These critical roles form the backbone of Fanatics Collectibles and are responsible for ensuring that 50-75 new products are delivered to the market annually on-time and in accordance with our high standards. We are looking for strong leaders with a problem-solving mindset, a disciplined execution-first approach, who thrive in complex settings with multiple stakeholders, and who have a relentless ability to drive alignment and “run through walls” to get things done. A passion for sports and the sport collectibles and merchandise ecosystem is a very welcome plus.

Responsibilities

End-to-end ownership: Responsible for contributing to the success and on-time delivery of a complex global portfolio that encompasses over 75 programs annually, with a focus on tracking on-time delivery of the team’s highest value assets.
Vendor Management: Act as a liaison between Fanatics Collectibles and vendor/partners, schedule regular check-ins, and hold all parties accountable for staying on task and on time.
Delivery roadmap: Align and distribute a comprehensive timeline of milestones across the complete lifecycle of products internally and with external partners.
Performance management: Track and manage the status of products in the current portfolio, ensuring efficient transitions between departments and vendors and keeping programs on track.
Problem-solving: Proactively identify upcoming bottlenecks, shifting priorities, and convene stakeholders to problem-solve and resolve them. Collaborate with subject matter experts to resolve escalations and complex issues.
Escalation: Identify potential issues and prepare materials for escalation when needed.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in working in or managing a cross-functional team across a fast-paced environment.
Some travel may be required.

Skills

Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence overlapping stakeholders across complex organizations.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, particularly in the ability to multi-task and prioritize across a complex portfolio.
Data proficiency, adept at interpreting data from multiple touchpoints, identifying warning signs and predicting long-term trends that could affect future deliverables.
Strategic Judgement – ability to balance competing demands, effectively allocate resources, and escalate issues appropriately to leadership.
Business judgment – ability to balance competing demands and prioritize requests for resources and escalation.
Ability to remain calm under pressure in dealing with unanticipated changes, last-minute shifts, and unforeseen circumstances.
Relentless focus on delivery and “run through walls” attitude toward execution.
