About the Role
As an IT Business Solutions Manager for Data & Analytics, this role supports JTI markets in Western Europe with data-driven decision-making strategies, focusing on Strategic Insights and Commercial Planning. The position involves designing, implementing, and evolving data-related solutions to enhance data value through business acumen, analytical skills, and problem-solving expertise.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a data strategy and define data solutions for informed decision-making in Western Europe.
- Collaborate with regional markets to identify demand and design solutions.
- Collaborate with other IT stakeholders to enable data opportunities for business functions.
- Support the rollout and evolution of corporate solutions with Global BTS and D&A teams.
- Conduct fit-gap analyses in data sources, models, and platforms.
- Design and deliver market data solutions.
- Liaise with IT security, Enterprise Architecture (EA), and Data & Analytics (D&A) teams to design sustainable, scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
- Ensure ownership of analytical tools, maintaining high data integrity and accuracy.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for flawless execution of data projects.
- Maximize the value of existing data sources and identify new data opportunities.
- Ensure cross-entity knowledge sharing to optimize IT investments.
- Embrace and learn steps and effort required to roll out a system to multiple markets.
- Work with other regions rolling out systems to gain knowledge and facilitate faster delivery.
- Support other regional teams by sharing learnings for successful deployment.
- Manage the application portfolio for a function within the region, including operational excellence.
- Manage demands and execute projects for a specific function.
- Broaden technical and delivery skills using available tools.
- Ensure third-party solution providers and external resources fulfill commitments within budget.
- Assist or run projects on behalf of the region as directed.
- Lead projects to localize and roll out centralized systems, including planning, data migration, and go-live.
- Maintain close communication during application crises to ensure business impact and prioritization.
- Act as an expert in the function's technology stack, seeking upskilling opportunities.
- Lead and manage identified changes and projects in accordance with JTI D&IT and Corporate governance standards.
- Work in accordance with JTI’s Project Management Framework, D&IT standards, policies, procedures, J-Sox controls, and best practices.
- Actively review technology successes and explore innovation with business partners.
- Be responsible for respective D&IT budgets for managed applications and services.
- Optimize, control, and reduce costs to improve regional budget efficiency and profitability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field or relevant certifications.
- 5+ years of exposure to IT architecture and solutions for data flows among systems and applications.
- 3+ years of business professional expertise in data analysis and insights generation, with relevant FMCG industry experience.
- Experience in delivering solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform, with an emphasis on data solutions and services.
- Strong experience in project management, with a track record of successful execution.
- Experience with budget management and contract management.

- £68,000 - £80,000 per annum
- Car allowance of £7,800 per annum
