About the Role

Processing and packing of Tate & Lyle and customer branded products on a shift basis, managing 14 packaging lines with varied SKUs and complex syrup processing equipment. This role contributes to an annual throughput of approximately 24,000 tonnes of sugar base products and 30 million units of syrup products.

Responsibilities

• Operation of plant in compliance with all SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) standards.
• Achievement of required production and OEE targets.
• Minimising waste by maintaining tight specifications for materials released under 'concession'.
• Adherence to BRC and customer standards with accurate recording of operational and traceability data.
• Develop a good working knowledge of the entire Plaistow operation.

Requirements

• Relevant experience within a Packing/Production environment.
• Good knowledge of complex Packing and Process operations is essential.
• Ability to provide basic holiday/sick cover for Team Leader or Supervisor.
