About the Role
Join a local, Queens, NY based trucking company with over 40 years of experience. This role offers the opportunity to earn up to an additional $1,000 per month through a performance bonus plan based on safety, attendance, and productivity, potentially increasing your hourly earnings to $31.25 within 90 days. The company also provides 5% yearly increases.
Responsibilities
- Using safe lifting techniques, efficiently sort, handle, load, and unload freight into/from over-the-road equipment, containers, city trailers, and/or straight trucks.
- Using pallet jacks and forklifts in the loading and unloading of freight, including Hazardous Materials freight.
Requirements
- Freight handling experience
- Forklift certification
- Hazmat training
- Previous freight dock or warehouse experience helpful
