About the Role

The Junior AC Engineer will support the experienced engineering team in delivering air conditioning projects. This role offers hands-on experience and learning opportunities within the building services sector.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance during the installation of AC systems, including refrigerant pipework, ductwork, and electrical connections, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
• Participate in the commissioning of AC systems, assisting with functional testing, performance verification, and system balancing under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Undertake routine maintenance tasks on existing AC systems, including filter changes, coil cleaning, and basic system checks.
• Assist in diagnosing and rectifying faults and breakdowns.
• Adhere strictly to all company health and safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe working environment.
• Actively seek opportunities for professional development, staying up-to-date with industry best practices, new technologies, and relevant regulations.
• Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues, site personnel, and clients to ensure project success.

Requirements

• A strong understanding of fundamental mechanical principles and an interest in HVAC systems.
