About the Role
As a Senior Manager in our growing Merger and Acquisition Tax practice, you will help clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique tax specialties. You'll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, acting as a strategic consultant for business analysis and M&A tax solutions. Our team assists with transaction structuring, tax due diligence, internal reorganizations, and post-acquisition integration, assessing historical tax risks, analyzing proposed transactions, advising on tax-efficient restructurings, and performing financial analysis/modeling.
Responsibilities

- Coach Associates and Senior Associates.

- Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.

- Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
- Develop a point of view on key global trends and how they impact clients.
- Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.
- Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points.
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of proven and practical experience in M&A Tax.
- Keen interest in Technology and AI.
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard.
- Ability to work in a multi-tasked, fast-paced, and changing environment.
- Excellent capacity to take initiatives and ownership of a project.
- Ability to think creatively, solve complex problems, determine innovative solutions, and communicate with impact.
- Superior communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills that allow you to thrive in a team environment.
- Experience in corporate and/or international tax research, Cross-border transactions/or consulting and compliance in a professional services firm, industry, government agency or law firm is an asset.
- A commitment to providing excellent client service and pride in delivering top quality work.
- When applying to a Quebec based opportunity, fluency in French is required. Outside of Quebec, fluency in French is an asset.
