About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, common spaces, entrances, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol records in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
  • Possess 5+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
