About the Role
A busy, welcoming family in Notting Hill, London, seeks a fabulous live-out housekeeper to start end of August/September. The role involves assisting a live-in housekeeper with all aspects of organizing and cleaning the home, including deep cleaning.
Responsibilities
- General cleaning to include daily tidying, dusting, mopping and vacuuming
- Ensuring all communal and heavy-use areas are maintained
- Changing linens and towels every 3 days
- Household laundry and ironing
- Keeping an eye on inventories, and making lists of missing supplies
- Reporting maintenance issues
- Light grocery shopping and other ad-hoc errands
- Working closely with a fully staffed household, responding to any requests from the family and/or house manager
Requirements
- A good level of fitness - the home has 5 flights of stairs!
- Discreet, flexible and calm personality
- Impressive attention to detail
- Comfortable around children
- Positive, can-do attitude, able to work equally well as part of a team, or independently
- Plenty of previous high-end housekeeping experience
- Excellent references
- Initiative and self-motivation with a positive approach to tasks and a bright, friendly disposition
