Responsibilities
- Perform project and design activities including 3D CAD modeling, design calculations, and generating detailed drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and peers in a team-based environment.
- Provide models and drawing packages to suppliers, internal customers, and rebuild teams, offering support throughout design phases.
- Uncover insights and deliver impactful solutions through strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to generate new ideas and concepts for problem-solving during the design phase.
- Fabrication experience (work or home) is preferred to support complex mechanical designs.
- Good communication skills to share opinions and ideas with project engineers.
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed and diverse organization across research, development, engineering, and manufacturing.
