About the Role

Guggenheim offers an internship program designed for students and recent graduates interested in Investment Banking, providing experience within a dynamic advisory team. The European office, established in April 2023, presents a unique entrepreneurial opportunity in the Investment Banking industry. Interns contribute as junior analysts on strategic advisory, M&A, and financing transactions, gaining exposure to senior bankers and client representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Perform company and industry research to develop innovative solutions for clients.
  • Prepare and participate in client presentations and transaction execution.
  • Support deal teams in building, maintaining, and using financial models.
  • Perform financial and valuation analysis, including discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, and multiples valuation.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Investment Banking products and services (Debt, Equity, M&A, Restructuring).
  • Interact with senior bankers, clients, lawyers, and accountants.

Requirements

  • Must be a recent graduate or graduating from university or business school by Summer 2026.
  • Top performers willing to work hard in an entrepreneurial banking environment.
  • Initiative, creativity, maturity, and enthusiasm for learning are highly valued.
  • Genuine interest in the Healthcare sector is a plus.

  • Bright, highly motivated individuals with solid corporate finance knowledge and strong technical skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interest in problem-solving and client service.

  • Significant maturity and ability to work under pressure to meet client deadlines.
  • Highly organized and proactive, with the initiative and ability to multitask and work with limited supervision.
