About the Role
Marc Jacobs International seeks a Temporary Showroom Coordinator to support the US Wholesale team during the Spring 2027 market.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain the showroom to Marc Jacobs brand standards throughout market.
- Prepare the space before each appointment and reset promptly after.
- Flag and resolve any presentation or maintenance issues in real time.
- Place daily catering orders and manage delivery timing around the appointment schedule.
- Set up and break down refreshments for each appointment; maintain a hospitality-forward environment.
- Track catering spends and maintains documentation as needed.
- Greet all showroom visitors with professionalism reflective of the Marc Jacobs brand.
- Manage front-of-house flow: confirm appointments, notify the sales team on arrival, direct guests.
- Maintain the daily appointment schedule and communicate real-time changes to the team.
- Pull and organize samples in advance of or during appointments as directed.
- Assist sales reps on the floor — retrieving products, managing flow, supporting a smooth presentation.
- Track sample movement; ensure all product is logged, returned, and properly stored after each appointment.
Requirements
- 1–3 years in a showroom, retail, fashion, or events coordination role.
- Exceptional organizational skills and eye for detail.
- Polished, professional demeanor with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; quick to learn new systems.
- Full availability for the market period.
- Experience in fashion wholesale or luxury retail.
- Familiarity with wholesale market.
- Passion for fashion and the Marc Jacobs brand.
