About the Role

The Patron Associate provides administrative support for the Patron Office, handling customer service, coordinating solicitation efforts, and administering the Patron Program benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Field inquiries from Patrons via phone and email, providing warm and courteous service.
  • Assist with daily gift booking, including stocks, wires, anonymous gifts, and pending checks.
  • Facilitate solicitation and fulfillment emails, and write and send monthly solicitation letters.
  • Check for accuracy and mail Patron acknowledgement letters.
  • Coordinate membership upgrade emails.
  • Maintain and upload exclusive membership web content.
  • Manage Straz Lounge reservations.
  • Ensure accuracy of memberships and related activities within the fundraising database.
  • Assist in the monthly Patron billing process.
  • Assist with Patron activities/events and Backstage Tour check-in when needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Patron and Young Associate Giving.
  • Assist Patron Coordinator as needed with On Account Gift Booking.
  • Handle email, design, and coordination for Special Events and Patron Presentation.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the Patron Office team.

Requirements

  • BA degree and 1+ year of experience in a customer service or administrative role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working with the public.
  • Pleasant and professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Tessitura or Raiser’s Edge preferred.
  • Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Occasional weekend or evening events required.
  • Energetic team player who works well with all personality types.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced, busy work environment.
