About the Role
The Learning Experience® – Staten Island, NY is seeking an experienced infant/toddler teacher to join our growing childcare center. Make a meaningful impact in early childhood education.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a preschool or daycare classroom for ages 2 to 5
- Implement our L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in a childcare setting
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
- Build strong relationships with children and families
- Collaborate with staff to support enrollment and engagement goals
- Ensure the safety, supervision, and development of every child
Requirements
- Prior childcare and daycare experience required
- Ability to manage classroom routines and meet children’s daily needs
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively supervise children
Skills
- Strong understanding of early childhood education and development
- Professional, patient, and team-oriented mindset
