About the Role

The Night Auditor is the face of the hotel during overnight hours and provides superior service to all guests.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and completing the check-in/check-out procedure through the Property Management System while obtaining and storing pertinent information.
• Handling cash, credit card information, and goods at the property.
• Identifying guest needs and providing relevant information regarding hotel services and amenities to create an accommodating environment. Responding to all guest requests in a timely manner.
• Taking reservations from incoming callers, inputting all pertinent information into the hotel management system, and updating/canceling reservations as requested.
• Organizing previous shifts' paperwork, closing and balancing all room accounts and vouchers, investigating and analyzing out-of-balance situations, and running trial balance reports and night audit.
• Preparing guest folios for express check-out.

Requirements

• Customer Service experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
• BRAND experience is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Computer knowledge including intranet, Property Management System, WORD, and EXCEL is strongly preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving history subject to company approval.
