About the Role
The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and suites at the Sleep Inn by Choice Hotels in Amherst, NY. This role is crucial for ensuring guest satisfaction and upholding the standards of Buffalo Lodging Associates.
Responsibilities
- Clean rooms/suites as assigned by supervisor ensuring quality of cleanliness and customer service.
- Clean floors, vacuum, change linens, make beds, and clean bathrooms.
- Report discrepancies and maintenance problems to supervisor.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests.
- Work typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel setting or open to training.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work alone or as part of a team.
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
- Can navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Can lift, carry up to 25 lbs.
