About the Role
As a Software Engineering Intern at Sage, you'll join a product engineering team as a full member from day one, contributing to the same roadmap, reviewing pull requests, and shipping to the production codebase. The software you build supports caregivers responding to real residents in real moments of need, with every feature having the potential to improve care. You will be mentored by an experienced engineer and will ship production software by the end of the summer.

- Write tests, participate in code reviews, and iterate on feedback as part of our engineering process
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to scope, build, and deliver meaningful features
- Learn what it takes to build and operate reliable software that people depend on every day

- Strong programming fundamentals in at least one language, such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Python, with excitement to learn across the stack
- Evidence that you enjoy building things, through coursework, personal projects, open source, internships, bootcamps, or self-directed work
