About the Role

This role is crucial for managing financial operations, ensuring timely tax compliance, and driving digitalization within the finance tech stack. You will handle international payment processing and collaborate directly with international license partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate month-end closing processes in close collaboration with the tax advisor.
• Ensure timely submission of tax reports, including withholding tax (§50a EStG) and KSK reports.
• Manage accounts receivable, including monitoring incoming payments and executing timely dunning processes.
• Generate and review outgoing invoices, maintaining a clean and complete filing system.
• Contribute to the digitalization and automation of processes within the Finance Ops Tech Stack.
• Process domestic and international payments and communicate directly with international license partners.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a tax assistant or a comparable commercial apprenticeship with a finance focus.
• 1-3 years of professional experience, ideally in a tax firm or accounting department.
• Proficiency with DATEV or comparable accounting software and strong Excel skills.
• Structured and independent work style with a proactive approach to taking responsibility.
• Confident communication skills in German and good command of English.
