About the Role

We are looking for an experienced People and Culture Business Partner to join our team in Sydney Olympic Park. This is a true generalist role, partnering closely with leaders and delivery teams across the Joint Venture providing both strategic and hands on HR support.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical HR advice and guidance to leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle.
• Work closely with delivery teams to implement key people initiatives.
• Build strong relationships across the Joint Venture, working effectively across different employing organisations, policies and people frameworks to support a consistent employee experience.
• Partner and coordinate with Joint Venture employing organisations HR teams on performance, conduct and employee relations matters.
• Conduct regular site visits to build relationships, understand team needs, and address people related queries.
• Provide advice and support on workforce planning, succession, talent and employee engagement.
• Use workforce insights to inform decision-making and identify emerging people and workforce priorities.

Requirements

• You are an experienced People and Culture Business partner who builds credibility quickly and works effectively with both leaders and delivery teams.
• You are comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments, balancing competing priorities and translating people strategy into practical outcomes.
• Strong experience as a People and Culture Business Partner ideally within construction, infrastructure or similar project delivery environment.
• Experience working across joint ventures, alliances, matrix organisations or similarly complex environments.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence across all levels.
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder and employment environments, working collaboratively across multiple organisations while maintaining a whole of program perspective.
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance people outcomes and business priorities.
