About the Role
Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of front and back of house facilities, potentially leading other utility workers. Responsibilities may vary based on client requirements and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Train and guide utility staff on job duties and proper safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by cleaning and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils.
- Maintain and clean dishwashing station, three compartment sink, storerooms, refrigerators, and related areas.
- Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition; report issues to management.
- Perform other light maintenance and custodial tasks.
- Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in a similar role.
- Ability to exercise considerable judgment based on previous experience to solve problems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- May act as an informal resource for those with less experience.
- Gain extensive knowledge of the proper use and cleaning techniques for kitchen equipment including steamers, ovens, mixers, grills, and dishwashing equipment.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of basic sanitation procedures.
- May involve lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
- May require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Salary/Compensations
- $17.60 - $20.00
