About the Role
The Total Fund Risk & Analytics team is seeking a creative problem solver to contribute to reporting, monitoring, and analytical activities, as well as research and development initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain buy-side experience at the intersection of quantitative finance, investment risk, and technology.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance existing analytical capabilities and develop new ones for enterprise risk systems and business tools.
- Implement solutions and address on-demand requests from the Risk Division and investment departments.
- Conduct research and analyses to support risk modeling and monitoring processes for the enterprise risk system.
- Explore and apply Artificial Intelligence technologies to investment risk opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design, develop, and enhance analytics tools for investment decision-making, ensuring alignment with organizational values.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in a quantitative field such as Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering.
- Strong conceptual and analytical thinking abilities.
- Proficient in quantitative and qualitative problem-solving.
- Experience with software development using Python and/or C#.
- Working knowledge of Excel, PL/SQL, Power BI, Visual Studio, Julia, and Git.
- Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills (oral and written).
- Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable.
- Must be returning to studies after the work term concludes.
- Legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located.
