About the Role

The Senior Director of Product Management - Enterprise AI/ML will lead a product team spanning the Machine Learning and AI platforms at Capital One. This role is responsible for capabilities enabling associates to train and serve Models and Generative/Agentic AI applications that power the business. We seek a deeply technical product leader with a proven history of building products for data scientists and software developers, possessing deep domain expertise in AI/ML technologies and familiarity with emerging infrastructure for Generative AI.

Responsibilities

  • Define Generative AI and ML Platform vision and strategy
  • Continuously evolve platforms of industry-leading AI/ML capabilities while maintaining a pristine user experience
  • Partner strategically with adjacent platform leaders to maintain a cohesive and integrated enterprise platform ecosystem
  • Unlock game-changing value across the business, while generating real-time, intelligent experiences for customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field and at least 7 years of Product Management experience
  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
  • 7+ years of experience within a large, data-intensive multi-line of business environment with significant complexity and scale
  • 3+ years of experience in people leadership
  • 5+ years of experience in innovative technology environments that embrace public cloud (e.g., AWS) and open source technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Spark, Ray, LangChain)
  • 3+ years experience building business-critical AI and Machine Learning products
  • Experience in AI Risk Management
