About the Role
This hands-on role involves troubleshooting and repairing maintenance issues within a 150-unit apartment community, directly impacting the resident experience. The Service Technician will partner with a Service Manager, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot service issues including HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, and electrical.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
- Maintain interior and exterior areas according to company standards and legal requirements.
- Respond promptly to maintenance service requests and work orders.
- Communicate effectively with residents and staff regarding repair status.
- Assist with maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of the community.
Requirements
- Active, valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
- One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
