About the Role
Join Junior Adventures Group as a Childcare Activity Leader and facilitate fun, engaging activities for children aged 4-11 in our Breakfast & After School Clubs. This role offers split shifts, providing flexibility for personal pursuits.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities including multi-sports, arts & crafts, group games, and creative play.
- Set up engaging play spaces, ensuring they are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
- Supervise children with care and enthusiasm, fostering an inclusive environment.
- Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out processes efficiently.
- Work split shifts: 7:30–9:00am and 3:00–6:00pm.
- Collaborate effectively within a team and take initiative when necessary.
Requirements
- Must love working with children and possess a positive, can-do attitude.
- Creative thinking skills to design engaging activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently manage groups.
- Experience in teaching, coaching, childcare, or youth work is advantageous but not essential.
- Must pass an Enhanced DBS check and Children's Barred List Check.
- Willingness to undergo suitability checks and potential online searches for shortlisted candidates.
