About the Role
adesso Ventures is a European early-stage venture capital fund. We combine capital with deep industry expertise and a large network of enterprise customers to provide our portfolio companies with a competitive advantage in market entry and scaling.
Responsibilities
- Identify and source promising pre-seed and seed startups in Enterprise Tech, Deeptech, and Digital Health through your network.
- Evaluate business models, markets, teams, and financial metrics to create investment cases.
- Support term sheets, negotiations, and the entire investment process until signing in coordination with the General Partner.
- Provide strategic support to European portfolio companies post-investment, facilitate connections within the adesso network, and assist with follow-on funding rounds.
- Represent adesso Ventures at events, with co-investors, and within the startup scene to build brand visibility.
- Actively participate in team investment decisions, provide and receive feedback on deals, and support colleagues.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Natural Sciences, or a comparable field.
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in Venture Capital, Private Equity, M&A, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, or a startup.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a European Venture Capital fund with a proven track record.
- Existing broad network within European Venture Capital funds and the startup ecosystem.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
- High degree of initiative, responsibility, and a hands-on mentality.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
- Enjoy working in small, dynamic teams with a high focus on output.
- Willingness to take ownership of topics and drive them to success.
- Enjoy meeting founders and winning deals.
