About the Role
The Post Production Coordinator role involves the day-to-day processing and handling of all images and videos produced by the John Lewis Studio, ensuring high-quality visual assets and videos meet all specified requirements for omni-channel delivery.
Responsibilities
- Process and handle e-commerce and creative images and videos through retouching to final delivery.
- Quality check all studio-produced images before and after retouching, verifying crops, guidelines, consistency, naming, and sizing in Photoshop.
- Monitor all assets for coding errors or missing images, ensuring full suites are delivered on time.
- Download and upload imagery from internal and external sources to FTP sites and external agencies, delivering in agreed formats and meeting KPIs.
- Communicate retouching amends to Senior Retouchers, schedule amends, and deliver within set timeframes.
- Maintain good housekeeping of all image and video assets on internal and external image servers.
- Resolve digital asset queries and manage/prioritize requests from key teams efficiently.
- Track and maintain all amends through the reporting log.
- Ensure images and videos are omni-channel ready and delivered to brief on time.
- Archive and handle images and videos appropriately.
- Work with the studio team to receive samples for color matching and pass them to the warehouse promptly.
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships with Retouch, Production, and Launch Coordination teams to ensure timely delivery of digital and video assets.
Requirements
- Mac literate with proven working experience of Excel and Photoshop.
- Experience/understanding of working within a studio/production department.
- Exceptional organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize large volumes of work effectively and efficiently within tight deadlines.
- Comfortable communicating effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
- Great attention to detail, demonstrating a high degree of accuracy.
