About the Role

Our office, Union Square Endodontics, is seeking a talented Treatment Coordinator to join our busy specialty practice. We are looking for a talented and skilled Treatment Coordinator to help us accomplish our mission to improve the lives of our patients by providing a world-class specialty experience for every patient.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate treatment plans, coordinate appointments, and assist patients with financial arrangements.
  • Explain treatment options, answer questions, and address concerns clearly and empathetically.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to create comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Schedule appointments for treatments, consultations, and follow-up visits.
  • Assist patients in understanding insurance coverage and financial obligations, providing accurate cost estimates, and exploring payment options.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment plans, and correspondence.
  • Ensure a smooth patient flow and organized office environment by working closely with the front desk and administrative staff.
  • Continuously update knowledge of dental treatments, procedures, and insurance policies.
  • Handle patient concerns or issues during the treatment process, escalating as necessary.
  • Facilitate and coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of dental experience required.
  • Dental verification experience required.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, busy office environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients and the dental team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in dental software, digital tools, and computer skills.
  • Understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes.
  • Empathetic and patient-centered approach to customer service.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to operate standard office equipment.
  • Must be able to assist patients safely in and out of chairs or treatment areas.
  • Must be able to maintain clinical positioning for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work around medical equipment and instruments.
  • Must be able to adhere to OSHA and infection control standards.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements.
  • Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations.
