About the Role

ARCO/Murray is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager passionate about the construction process. This role offers the opportunity to drive project performance and profit from day one, with associates empowered to lead their success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage managerial and administrative aspects of a project, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
  • Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate.
  • Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
  • Participate in proposal meetings with the owner to review the scope of work, discuss cost reduction strategies, and provide value engineering ideas.
  • Oversee the buyout process and subcontractor selection.
  • Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings.
  • Make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
  • Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to achieve desired results.
  • Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes.
  • Make necessary changes, utilize customer input for improvements, and meet/exceed internal and external client expectations.
  • Act with integrity, supporting the company's values and associates, while maintaining a focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Engineering program or related field of study.
  • Open to a full-time opportunity post-graduation.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
  • Prior construction internship experience is a plus.
  • Extracurricular involvement is a plus.
