About the Role

As a Planungs- und Bauleitungsingenieur:in Fernwärmehausanschlüsse, you will be responsible for the cost estimation, planning, and execution of district heating house connections, contributing to the local heat transition in Berlin.

Responsibilities

  • Create cost estimates for district heating house connections.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, departments, and public authorities.
  • Apply for necessary permits, service information, and excavation notifications.
  • Develop house connection plans in collaboration with internal interfaces.
  • Commission executing companies based on framework agreements.
  • Coordinate the implementation of design plans with customers, authorities, and contractors.
  • Monitor compliance with work and environmental protection regulations with support from a SiGeKo and/or ecological construction supervision.
  • Oversee cost, schedule, and quality control.
  • Independently manage and execute construction projects.
  • Supervise construction execution until the commissioning of the house transfer station.
  • Accept completed construction services.
  • Organize and conduct commissioning and network reconnections (including meter ordering).
  • Review measurements and invoices.
  • Hand over project data for documentation.
  • Plan and organize temporary solutions.

Requirements

  • Completed university/university of applied sciences degree in engineering (required).
  • Initial knowledge in underground and pipeline construction.
  • Initial knowledge in AutoCAD application.
  • Some experience in the described field of work.
  • Very good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Good assertiveness.
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking skills.
  • Fluent German language skills (written and spoken) at a minimum C1 level (required).
  • Approximately 70 percent of the requirements met.
